The fart that started it all

As I sit here inhaling the fumes of some of the nastiest dog farts you ever did smell, it has come to my attention that I really have to share some of the remarkable and funny stories that is my life with dogs.
It all started this morning with a trip to the massage therapist. Relaxing you say? Why yes, it was. Indeed, we were talking about food, vegetables and other healthy things (far better than the halloween candy I had for breakfast I suppose). Enlightened, I headed off to the store and bought a brand new crock pot for my healthy eating adventures, then to the grocery store to get the veggies in question.
Arriving home, I dutifully washed, peeled, sliced and diced everything into the crockpot along with a 3 pound roast that was sitting in the freezer waiting to be had.
The moment of truth! Five hours later, my master piece was done. I rented a movie for the great event and piled my veggies and a slice of meat into my bowl. Off to the livingroom to eat.
I return for more. But wait? Where's the roast? Ah, crap it was just a wee bit close to the edge of the counter. One of the nine loose potlickers has had my supper, and was damn quiet about it too! But which one was it? I never thought I'd know which dog was the culprit. Until it came time to read the e-mails, and here is Cai, lying quietly in the computer room, a gentle phhsst coming from his back end every couple of minutes. My those farts smell like roast! He gets up and moves every few minutes, not even he can stand the smell. Well, glad someone enjoyed it!

Shannon - That blog is highly entertaining and well written! Maybe you should write a book?

Ha ha! You should call them, 'pot roast lickers', not 'pot lickers'! They're allll potlickers in my book.... ;-)

Bob the Dog looks cool. A five foot fence you say? I'm beginning to think Wally the Collie can launch over such a fence as well - twice now he's taken himself for a walk, and there ain't no way through the fence or under it!

TTYL!
